Jon was required by his job to get a professional portrait taken that would be used in media releases. Jon already had a photo of himself that was currently being used, which was taken against a white wall in the office. These days, people are valuing photography and video more than ever, as visual information increases in value.
Jon took our quick session package, and in less than 30 minutes he had a brushed up photo that could submit anywhere in confidence.

Nate had never had his portrait taken professionally before, as is the case for most. Since it was a new process for him, he wanted to make sure he had enough time to get what he was looking for. Our standard package offers up to 1 hour of shooting, which allows for more warm up time, more outfit changes, and more edited photos in the end. When he arrived, he mentioned that consultation was important to him. He wasn't sure how each outfit would read on camera. Since we had plenty of time, we got to try out three outfit variations, which he helped select for him.
In the end, Nate chose one final image from each wardrobe change, which left him with plenty of options for usage on different mediums.

He had specific photo requirements based off the other staff pictures. One angle, a particular lighting style, and against a white backdrop. We were able to recreate the same lighting as had been done in their previous employee head shots, so that it would synonymous.

Due to the increasing demand for online web presence, Kim's employer asked her to get her headshot taken for the company website. Getting your photo taken is generally not something one would do from their own free will, as the thought of posing for the camera can be quite daunting. Kim was no exception. Though she came in nervous, after a couple rounds of shooting and viewing the results instantly on the large monitor, she was surprised to see she was looking better than she expected!
Almost no one likes their photo getting taken, not even us! But whether it's for memory or a necessary business endeavour, having a high quality image of yourself can be beneficial in many ways. We had the pleasure of dressing up Dundarave Dental's website by taking portraits of their staff and office space. Dr Gabor Balogh's practice began in West Vancouver in 1995. His friendly approach to the over so intimidating field of dentistry make his clients feel at ease in the presence of his wonderful team.
Our task was to connect people to his practice through clean and approachable images. Previously, his website's imagery solely consisted of bright smiles and pearly whites, but was lacking a personal touch. In a world that's focusing more and more on the online world, it's key to draw your audience through this medium.

Professional Studio Portrait Dancer
Alexandra is a professional dancer and singer. Though she's had her headshot taken before, due to an unfortunate collapse of her computer, all of her data was lost. With an upcoming audition to dance for the Toronto Blue Jays, she had a couple days to retake her photo in time for the application. Since she booked the standard package, we were able to honour her request to have the 3 images within a day of the shoot.
Please note that in the case of exclusive packages (which consist of more than 3 images), editing time may be longer than those of standard and quick packages. Typical editing time is 1-2 weeks, but we try our best to accommodate special requests given the situation.
